Community

INCM Community connects leaders to each other resulting in the exchange of ideas, collaboration, and intentional support.

Why Community?

Often leaders in children’s ministry can feel isolated–wishing that someone else knew what it was like to serve children and families in their pursuit of discipleship. INCM Community will help you:

Find support and accountability

Ask questions and learn from others

Build meaningful relationships

Networking

The intentional connection of children’s ministry leaders that results in a beneficial exchange between them.

3 Tips on How to Network
  1. Networking is different than building personal friendships and relationships. It is specific to two people coming together and wanting to learn from each other!
  2. Limit the personal details and backstory. Networking often happens in just a few short moments. Make good use of those few moments!
  3. You bring value to this exchange. So, what is that value? Determine before you engage in a networking relationship what you have to bring to the table.
Where Do I Start?
  1. Check out our leader highlights. These are children’s ministry leaders who want to connect with you!
  2. Do a search of churches within a 5 mile radius of your church. Choose one of the churches, and reach out to their children’s pastor! Invite them out to coffee with the clear intention of sharing ideas and support.
  3. Follow our social media to be encouraged in your calling, to engage in interactive posts that connect you to the broader community, and to stay up-to-date on upcoming events.
Networking at CPC

Networking Conversations: Deconstructed is an annual session hosted by INCM at Children’s Pastors Conference that intentionally connects you with other children’s ministry leaders.

You will learn how to effectively network no matter where you are!

Coaching

INCM believes that coaching takes place within a relationship focused on helping you move from where you are to where God is calling you to be by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Coaching helps leaders to first grow in their thoughtful awareness of what ‘right now’ looks like in their lives and leadership.

This powerful excerpt taken from our Leadership Inventory is a tool used in our coaching process that will help you grow in your awareness of the people you lead and reflect on questions that will deepen your understanding of your influence.

Who Could Be Your Coach?

Coaches are marked by their ability to listen and then respond with powerful questions.

INCM will be offering an opportunity for INCM members to be coached by an INCM certified coach in 2020! If you’re interested in find out more information when these groups launch, join the waitlist
