Michayla White

Interim Executive Director

As the Interim Executive Director for INCM, Michayla oversees the ministry of INCM and provides guidance for initiatives that inspire and equip the kidmin community. For the past eleven years, she has had the privilege of serving in children’s and family ministry. Prior to joining INCM, she served at a non-profit children’s ministry organization in various capacities like media production, digital strategy, conferences, partnerships, and ministry program design. She has also enjoyed consulting for ministry friends and organizations. Michayla has a Bachelor’s in Psychology with specializations in Christian Counseling and Life Coaching from Liberty University. Her passion for children’s ministry started in middle school, and she was always involved in all aspects of her church’s children’s ministry. These experiences solidified a burning passion in her heart to serve those who serve children and families.

Michayla married her best friend and childhood sweetheart. They are having a blast raising two little boys.

Erika Watkins

Events Program Director

Erika serves as the Events Program Director for INCM. Her enthusiasm for serving the local Church began as a child growing up in Kentucky, and she hasn’t looked back! Serving for over 18 years in the Los Angeles area as a full-time leader in Worship & Arts ministry, God opened opportunities that strengthened her desire to partner with God’s people and churches throughout the city. She is excited to bring her experience as a ministry leader to the INCM team.

Erika and her husband Kevin are blessed with four children (five including our son-in-law) and two amazing grandsons!

Shelley Henning

Community Support Specialist

Shelley serves as Community Support Specialist for INCM. She brings a heart to serve and equip the kidmin community, working through the initiatives of, Dispatch, and Children’s Ministry Certification. Shelley discovered her passion for children’s ministry in her teens and was called to full-time ministry shortly after. Prior to joining INCM, she led thriving ministries to children and families in both large and small churches in Michigan for nearly two decades.

Shelley and her husband Mike have four children that they adore walking through life with!

Yanet Coombes

Event Specialist

Yanet serves as Event Specialist over Volunteers, CPC Store and Special Project for INCM. Her Ministry life started 13 years ago when she started in Children’s Ministry alongside her children. As her children grew so did her passion for volunteering in Kids-Min having served as a volunteer Children’s Ministry Director for 6 years prior to her start here at INCM. Her heart to serve volunteers runs deep as she leads our volunteer team.

Yanet is often referred to as the gal with purple hair who loves LipStick, but her favorite titles are “partner in crime” to her Husband of 15 years and Mom to her 4 amazing kids.

Melanie Hester

Event Specialist

Melanie serves within the role of Event Specialist. She specializes in event details for CPC logistics and general communication. She was introduced to kidmin at a young age, fell in love with the community, and never looked back! Most recently she has served the church from both the inside as a Children’s Director and the outside through non-profits that equip and train youth in the local church. Melanie loves being married to Drew and seeing Jesus from a whole new perspective–through the eyes of her kids.

Johanna DeHaven

Registration Specialist

Johanna serves as the Registration Specialist at INCM, making sure that the registration process for events goes smoothly. Her dad is a pastor, so she’s been volunteering in children’s and youth ministry pretty much since she could walk. She has her bachelor’s in Biblical and Theological Studies and a master’s in History of Christianity from Wheaton College. She is passionate about helping children follow God from a young age and providing support for children’s ministers and their families. Johanna loves to spend her free time reading, running, and watching baseball.
