September could be my favorite month. Around Chicago the leaves start to turn. Football starts. The apple orchard is open (which means apple cider donuts and apple cider are always on hand at the office). And for many children’s and family ministry leaders, there are new beginnings. Fall launch. Promotion Sunday. Training. Midweek kickoff. Yes, fall is here.
September has been an intense month here at INCM. We hosted CM Leaders, spent some focused time on team building (and trying to parallel park in Chicago), and gathered with our Board of Directors.
But even in the midst of the rigors of ministry, all of us look forward. You have plans and dreams for the year ahead. At INCM, our eyes are fixed with great determination and anticipation for CPC, not only 2015 but 2016!. Many of you identify INCM most significantly with our flagship expression over its 35 year history. You might not realize just how many people contribute to create the CPC experience. We connect resource providers, children’s and family ministry leaders, conference and breakout speakers, worship and creative ministry leaders, sound and technical crews, an incredible team of volunteers, along with the INCM staff team. More than a hundred people connect to make these events remarkable.
But there’s more, so much more that we are excited to unveil in days ahead. Conversations with kidmin, creative ventures, new teammates, and storytelling projects. We cannot wait to share these dreams with you. Stay tuned.
