Here at INCM, we’ve heard from a lot of churches about how they totally understand how important it is to reach children during this vulnerable stage in their lives.
BUT we’ve also heard that churches don’t have the time (or the budget) to reach these kids well, so they stick with their plan of the children’s leader focusing on the younger kids and the youth leader focusing on the older kids, leaving tweens stuck between ministries that don’t fit or reach them.
Tweens need a champion in their local church today.
Tweens need someone to embrace their uniqueness and create environments for discipleship that allow this age group to develop their faith and embrace their identity.
