My wife and I, even amid the pressures of modern-day parenting, are committed to investing in our children’s discipleship.
Moment of truth: I have no idea if we’re radically screwing it up or not.
That’s a little bit crazy because I spent 10 years of my life gaining a Biblical and theological education related to ministry to children and families.
One of the things we learned along the way is to be tool and method agnostic. In other words, we use everything. Everything we can get our hands on, we will try, test, experiment with, put to good use. Every kid is different – some things work well, others fail. As a result, our girls have seen a LOT, many, maybe even hundreds of different tools, resources come through our house. Now our oldest kids are nine and ten years old and we were all excited to use a tool called SproutBox.

SproutBox is a monthly box subscription designed to create unforgettable family-based Bible experiences with AR technology, interactive curriculum, and easy-to-follow parent guides to facilitate faith-shaping conversations with your kids (ages 4-10). Now, my wife and I were already familiar with SproutBox before using it with our kiddos because we helped develop some of the foundational content.
But something happened when they used SproutBox, neither I or Noel expected. The kids not only worked together, but they were amazed at the story SproutBox told from Scripture. Their faces tell the story.
When was the last time your kids had that look on their face when they heard God’s Word? SproutBox has found an incredible bridge in digital storytelling. It’s absolutely futuristic and it perfectly speaks the language of digital learners. Suddenly, the Creation Story jumped off my dining room table.
I asked the founder of SproutBox if INCM could give a couple of SproutBoxes away, so children’s ministry leaders could experience it. And he said yes!
We’ve got 5 boxes to give away, and all you have to do is fill out this form!
Winners will be notified on Tuesday, October 6.
