The ministry of INCM is built on partnerships.
We partner with you – the leaders in children’s and family ministry.
We partner with churches who host our events.
We partner with international ministries who invest in the kids around the world and allow the kidmin community to have an eye toward the global church.
We partner with ministries, artists, and creatives who create the tools and resources we use each week in church.
I want to highlight one of our partners today: Bethel Seminary.
Bethel Seminary is an evangelical Christian higher education institution with approximately 6,000 students from 36 countries enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, seminary, and adult education programs. Bethel is a global academic institution with a 139-year history of excellence in developing whole leaders who are prepared to serve wherever they’re called.
Alongside Bethel Seminary, INCM is in the third year of the Advanced Certificate in Children’s Ministry. With Bethel Seminary faculty, we gather a cohort of children’s and family ministry over the course of three INCM events to engage in the program with a custom curriculum created by the team at Bethel.
Let me offer you a peek inside of the Advanced Certificate. If you were a fly on the wall, here’s what you would see.
An extraordinary faculty
Dr. Deb Moncauskas, Dr. Denise Muir Kjesbo, and Dr. Anne-Marie Finsaas are all professors within the program and they are joined by other educators and graduates of Bethel’s Master of Arts in Children’s and Family Ministry. Outside of a seminary classroom, you could not be led by a more qualified group of educators.
Leaders like you
We know how many children’s and family ministry leaders are yearning to grow, not just as professionals, but in their own leadership development. Students in the program are pastors, directors, coordinators – just like you, working in the day to day life of the church. And Bethel is keenly adept at uniting these groups, called “cohorts,” into a relational community that goes beyond the learning environment.
Listening to boring lectures or watching videos for hours is not our idea of a positive learning experience. The Advanced Certificate is an interactive experience. You will learn about yourself, your strengths, and you will grow as a result. Your certificate program journey is personal because you get to meet up with your cohort and the faculty face to face at three different events and it the journey continues outside of the events through convenient, ongoing interaction online.
While you would expect such a program to come with a hefty price-tag, enrollment is only $899 and it includes the entire 100-hour program plus registration to CPC16, CM Leaders 2016, and CPC17.
If you’re looking to grow as a leader through a complete educational experience with an extraordinary faculty, I invite you to join the Advanced Certificate in Children’s Ministry.
