There are people who make the world a more illuminated, grace-showered place just by encountering them, and Megan Fate Marshman is one of those people.
Megan is the director of student resources and production for David C Cook and has led and challenged thousands of students in their faith at Hume Lake Christian Camps. With a deep passion to see lifetime faith in the lives of ministry leaders, students and families, Megan has invested the past season of her life leading and collaborating with dozens of student ministry leaders in the development of TruIdentity, the newest age level of Tru for middle and high schoolers. With a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Azusa Pacific University, Megan speaks nationally at churches, conferences, and university chapels.
All of those accomplishments are truly amazing, but what Megan would really want you to know is how much she deeply, intensely, with-all-of-her-heart-and-soul loves Jesus and His people! When you hear Megan speak, you will be struck not only by her passion, authenticity, and humor, but also by the way she so obviously depends on the Spirit for the message she is delivering.
Megan will be blessing us at CPC as a General Session speaker and Breakout Speaker. Her general session will revolve around celebrating our ministry context (our churches and our families), and everyone attending should be ready to come with their hearts and hands open to what God is going to teach us… and to laugh because she’s just a really fun person to be around!
When I first chatted with Megan on the phone, as we were nearing the end of our call, she gave me a tremendous gift. She asked if she could pray for me, and I can’t express how much that meant to me in that moment. I’d been praying with a lot of people throughout the week, and she was the first one to turn the table and pray for me. Megan is a servant, a friend of God, and a joy to encounter. I truly can’t wait for you to meet her at CPC 2015!
