Meet Louie Giglio!

By June 30, 2017Uncategorized

I remember the first time I heard Louie Giglio preach. About 15 minutes into his sermon, I realized that I was literally on the edge of my seat and leaning as far forward as possible. It was obvious that this man had a unique familiarity with the Word of God, and his passion felt like what it would have been like to listen to one of the prophets preach in the Old Testament times.

And I guess that kind of passion makes sense, because Louie is the Visionary Architect and Director of the Passion Movement. This movement is comprised of the Passion Conferences, Passion City Church, Passion Publishing and sixsteprecords. He is also the founder of the Passion Global Institute.

Louie and his wife, Shelley, founded the Passion Conferences in 1997 in an effort to unite college-aged people in events around the globe. At the most recent Passion 2017 in Atlanta, they gathered over 55,000 students. In 2009, they sensed God calling them to extend the vision of Passion to the local church; because of this, they planted Passion City in the city of Atlanta.

Louie is the author of The Comeback, The Air I Breathe, I Am Not But I Know I Am, and Goliath Must Fall which released this past May.

Louie and Shelley make their home in Atlanta, Georgia.

We’re thrilled to have Louie join the incredible team of speakers who will be guiding us through the theme of Made for This at CPC18! Especially with Louie’s most recent book being Goliath Must Fall, we could not imagine a better leader to guide us through how we were made for bravery!

Learn more about Louie’s ministry here.

P.S. Today is the last day to secure early access to breakout registration! Every leader registered for CPC18 by July 1 will have priority access to breakout reservations. This means that every person registered before July 1 gets to reserve their breakouts a week before those who register after July 1. Breakouts fill up fast, so this gives you a head start!
