When our team returned from CPC this year, we poured through feedback forms and survey results to see how we could make those events the best possible experiences for kidmin.
One resounding message: you want to bring your whole team with you.
You want them to hear what you heard and experience what you experienced, so the entire team, both staff and volunteers, could be refreshed and rejuvenated and see a big vision for the future of children’s ministry at your church.
But it is difficult to bring a team to an event. Budgets are tight. Time is limited.
Last year, at CPC in Ontario, CA, we announced that we’re moving to one national CPC in Chattanooga, but we are offering something unique in Southern California in 2016. We call it CPC 2-Day.
CPC 2-Day packs some of the amazing General Sessions and breakouts from CPC in Chattanooga and adds excellent resources and experiences created just for teams, in an affordable two-day format.
CPC 2-Day welcomes some of the same great speakers from CPC16 — including Family Ministry Architect at David C. Cook, Family Ministry Ambassador for ROCKHARBOR church, author, and speaker, Dr. Michelle Anthony; CEO of KidzMatter and Vice President at Awana, Ryan Frank;and author, children’s and family ministry leader, kidmin coach, and Executive Director of INCM, Matt Guevara. And worship pastors Jimmy and Brittany Reedy will be leading worship throughout the event.
In addition to the keynote speakers and main sessions, there will be 30+ breakout sessions for additional training and equipping, two team experiences to make your team better and stronger, and group and individual coaching to move you and your team from where you are to where you want to be.
CPC 2-Day is a great event for children’s ministry teams to gather together to learn, grow, and become better!
