Shepherds are pretty easy to pick out of a group of people. They talk differently, care differently, listen differently, and relate differently. They encourage. They challenge. Most of all, they teach you and guide you to Jesus without seeming to really try.
For me, that person is Brannon Marshall.
On paper, Brannon is the Director of Global Church Engagement at Awana. As a seminary graduate, and a former church planter, Brannon’s love for the church, discipleship, and God’s kids runs deep.
When it comes to what it looks like to be a disciple making disciples, I’ve learned the most from Brannon.
Brannon will be speaking at INCM’s CM Leaders conference in October, but you can catch him sooner.
Next Thursday, I invite you to join Brannon and I for a conversation on the topic of discipleship, and how what we believe about it truly impacts our ministries. You can expect to be encouraged and challenged as Brannon unpacks the truth that who we are in Christ is more important than what we do for Him.
Come ready with your questions about what it means to be a disciple-maker and not just a leader. Expect to walk away not only challenged, but also with practical insights about discipleship that you can apply to your own journey and your ministry. (Like 4 practices for “resting” in a world that rewards “doing” – I can’t wait to hear what those are!)
See you Thursday, August 13 at 12 p.m. CDT!
