In the last weeks since CPC Orlando and San Diego, we have been busy working to fulfill our commitment to serve you and your ministry. One of the exciting things our team has been working on is a renewed focus on training. Each month INCM has a training focus to help guide our conversations online and content in the IN>cm mag.
Since our last issue, published in January for both CPC events, we covered the topics of networking and encouragement. In the encouragement conversations we shared ways to encourage your team, the children you serve, families in your community and where to find encouragement for yourself. For our networking theme, we launched some new tools to help you network with a community of leaders. We now have over 20 networking groups and a new map tool to help promote and connect leaders in those cities. You can see the network groups map here and apply to launch your own group here.
This month our training focus is leadership. We’ll be hosting chats at CMConnect each week at 2 pm eastern. These free conversations are designed to encourage you and to help you grow with a community of eaders. In our special training group, CMConnect+, we’ve featured four leadership breakouts from past CPC events. We invite you to listen in and join the conversation there.
Central to our theme of leadership is helping to develop leaders of leaders within the calling of children’s ministry. Many of you have already heard about our new event in Columbus, Ohio, the CM Leaders Conference. You can navigate to CMLeaders.com to see the speakers we have added to this unique event. It is shaping up to be an incredible year. Just today we confirmed Johnny Rogers as a speaker! He joins a list of over 13 incredible speakers from 5 countries. It is going to be powerful and you will not want to miss it. The space is limited for this event… we really hope you’ll join us as we dive into the three leadership arts: develop, lead and disciple.
