A veteran children’s and family ministry leader, Matt Guevara has held a life-long curiosity for how kids learn and how the church can best serve families. Guevara’s innovative views on the new horizon of ministry in the socially connected, all-digital world have earned him invitations to meet with and design solutions for an array of leaders and organizations, including: KidzMatter, Awana, David C Cook, NavPress, Tween Gospel Alliance, Focus on the Family, and Bethel Seminary where he completed his Masters in Children’s and Family Ministry. Matt currently serves as the Executive Director of INCM and leads a family with four amazing kids.
As the Associate Director for INCM, Michayla oversees marketing as well as training initiatives to provide innovative, diverse, and relevant content to the kidmin community. For the past nine years, she has had the privilege of serving in children’s and family ministry. Prior to joining INCM, she worked in various capacities at Awana like media production, digital strategy, conferences, partnerships, and ministry program design. She has also enjoyed consulting for ministry friends and organizations. Michayla has a Bachelor’s in Psychology with specializations in Christian Counseling and Life Coaching from Liberty University. Her passion for children’s ministry started in high school, and she quickly got involved in all aspects of her church’s children’s ministry. These experiences solidified a burning passion in her heart to serve those who serve children and families.
Michayla married her best friend and childhood sweetheart. They are having a blast raising two little boys.
Tracy serves as the Events Director at INCM. Prior to joining the INCM team in January 2015, she served in a similar position coordinating multiple events a large church in Chicago. She is certified in Conference Management and Event Planning from the International School of Hospitality in Las Vegas, NV. Tracy enjoys using her love for details and logistics to support the Kidmin community through events by creating a place where learning, refreshment, empowerment, and inspiration can occur.
As a life-long Chicago-area native, Tracy enjoys the crazy change of seasons, deep-dish pizza, and the beautiful Chicago skyline. She also loves to travel to parts of the country she has not been to before, and meet new, fascinating people in the Kidmin world. Tracy is married and has two children who keep her schedule pretty busy. She plays the oboe, performing with a local community orchestra and on stage at her church.
Resource Provider Specialist
Erika serves as Resource Provider Specialist for INCM. Her enthusiasm for serving the local Church began as a child growing up in Kentucky, and she hasn’t looked back! Serving for over 18 years in the Los Angeles area as a full-time leader in Worship & Arts ministry, God opened opportunities that strengthened her desire to partner with God’s people and churches throughout the city. She is excited to bring her experience as a ministry leader to the INCM team.
Erika and her husband Kevin are blessed with four children (five including our son-in-law) and two amazing grandsons!
Operations Administrative Assistant
Shelley began her career in operations in the banking industry. After a period of staying at home with her three children, she went back to school and completed her degree in Accounting with Colorado Christian University. During this time, Shelley felt God’s calling to serve, and in July of 2013, Shelley was hired as an Operations Administrative Assistant with INCM. Shelley serves in bookkeeping and finance as well as managing conference registration, and answering the phone. She enjoys getting to know the conference attendees, and loves serving in this capacity!
Shelley lives in Castle Rock with her husband of 23 years, Greg, and their three children, Devin, Nathan, and Anna.
Mia serves as the Ministry Assistant at INCM providing help with marketing, training and supporting office operations. She is graduating from Judson University this May with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries and is also currently pursuing her masters for Leadership in Ministry. Mia has volunteered and interned in various youth ministries for the past 4 years. This past summer she was on staff at Camp Commotion, a children’s day camp. Mia has a heart for people; empowering, equipping, and encouraging them in their life, while loving them like Jesus. Mia is ecstatic to marry the love of her life and her biggest supporter Tommy next year. She loves painting, hand lettering, the Little Mermaid, and all things water related!
Johanna serves as the Registration Specialist at INCM, making sure that the registration process for events goes smoothly. Her dad is a pastor, so she’s been volunteering in children’s and youth ministry pretty much since she could walk. She has her bachelor’s in Biblical and Theological Studies and a master’s in History of Christianity from Wheaton College. She is passionate about helping children follow God from a young age and providing support for children’s ministers and their families. Johanna loves to spend her free time reading, running, and watching baseball.
