How to Partner

For the past several years The International Network of Children's Ministry has sponsored cross cultural international leadership training and resourcing projects as part of the Children's Pastors' Conference programs. During the annual Children's Pastors' Conferences international training projects are promoted to the CPC conferees and funds are raised to support these activities.

The primary focus of INCM's international training effort is to equip and train children's workers worldwide with effective tools, resources and strategies for teaching children the Word of God and introducing them to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

INCM will consider training invitations from established ministries working with children and their teachers and leaders.

Host organizations, churches or other ministries interested in applying for a global training project must be non-profit, religious organizations with activities that include ministry to children and their teachers/leaders.

The host organization must have the resources to provide for the following:
  1. Arrangements for the training sites
  2. Translation of training materials that may be required.
  3. If required for non-English speaking settings provision of translators costs for the training team. The translator's costs would include their travel, meals, accommodations and any stipend that would be required.
  4. Duplication of the translated student materials for the number of participants and sites planned. (The INCM $500 grant may be applied toward these costs). This grant will be provided once the training project is confirmed and will be provided at least 60 days in advance of the training date.
  5. Either through registration or ministry resources provide for the site and participant costs where the training will be conducted.
  6. Make in-country arrangements for the INCM training team to include accommodations, meals and any required in-country travel. (Note: INCM will reimburse fair and reasonable costs for in country accommodation and food/meals, travel for the training team.)
  7. An in country project budget must be provided and approved by INCM prior to the training project.

What INCM Provides:
  1. INCM will cover the cost for trainer's travel, food and accommodations to the country's training site.
  2. Where in-country travel is required, INCM will cover the in-country travel costs for the INCM training team.
  3. INCM will provide training for up to 50 participants at each training location, and up to two training locations for each training project.
  4. Participants should be teachers, workers or leaders who are actively involved with children or intending to become part of children's ministry.
  5. INCM will provide the host organization with the computer files for translating (where required) and assembling the Chronological Bible Stories teacher's manual.
  6. INCM will provide the host organization a $500 grant (USD) toward the costs for translation and producing the training manual for each participant.
  7. INCM will provide a Chronological Bible Storying visual to each training participant for teaching, and related resources for explaining to children God's Plan of Salvation. (These materials are provided by INCM for a maximum of 50 training participants for each site).
  8. Awards for the finalists in the story telling festival at the conclusion of the training project.

Statement of Faith
Organizations desiring to partner with INCM should have a statement of faith that is compatible with INCM's beliefs.

Training Project Schedule
INCM desires to work with the host organization to provide a training project schedule that will be compatible with the needs of the host organization. In general, training projects for the INCM team should be considered for no longer than 10 days from date of departure of the INCM training team members to date of return. The in-country training can be accomplished in a centralized location or can be conducted as a two or three site tour project. For general considerations the actual training schedule can be planned for a two-night, three-day program. Other schedule arrangements can be considered and modified for a one day or two day training.
