Who should attend CPC?
CPC is for ALL people in ministry, whether you are a pastor, church leader, lay leader, elder, deacon, etc. Though the name of the conference has the words "children's pastor" in it, any adult ministering to children is encouraged to attend -- paid or volunteer. Even those that are responsible for leading others that minister to children should attend as well.

CPC has also been a place where public and private school teachers and administrators have benefited greatly as well. If you minister to children in any setting or context you will be blessed by the "CPC experience."

If you fit into any of the following categories you definitely should attend CPC:
  • Children's Pastors
  • Children's Ministry Directors
  • Christian Education Pastors or Directors
  • Family Ministry Directors and/or Family Pastors
  • VBS Directors and workers
  • Awana leaders and workers
  • Midweek children's leaders or workers
  • Public school teachers
  • Private school teachers and administrators
  • Children's minstry staff members
  • Sunday school teachers and administrators
  • Pastors, Elders, Deacons
  • Camp Directors
  • College Professors and Students
  • Any Christian leader or adult responsible for minstering to children and families!!

I'm a first-timer. What do I do once I get to the conference?
Please check in under your name. Once you check in, you will be provided with a conference handbook which includes a detailed schedule, map of the hotel property and other important information.

Conference Check-in is centrally located, and the INCM Staff will be glad to answer your questions. You'll find many late night activities, as well as quiet time and plenty of interaction and idea sharing through general sessions and breakout sessions. Don't miss the first-timer's orientation on the first day of the conference. This is a great opportunity to receive an overview of the conference and tips on getting the most from your CPC experience.

Your time at the Conference is for fun, recharging, networking, learning, and relaxing. You can choose to attend or not attend any of the scheduled activities.

Can we bring our small children?
Though our mission centers around children, CPC exists to encourage and train adults ministering to children. Child care is not available at CPC.

If you do have a nursing infant with you, please be courteous to the folks around you and remove them if they become disruptive. Additionally, we want to make sure that all paid attendees have access to seats, handouts and giveaways. Only individuals with a paid registration may occupy seats in our general sessions and breakout sessions.
