WHAT IS CPC?

CPC is the premier conference that focuses exclusively on children's ministry. You will spend four life-changing days with experts in children's ministry. You will hear quality speakers and performers throughout the conference while interacting with leaders who share your focus and passion.

“Thanks for your work with CPC. I was able to attend last year in Orlando for the first time. God got a hold of me at that conference last year and I’m now pursuing full time ministry with children and families. Thanks again for all you do.”

Jason Kaminski, CPC ’09 Attendee

Who should attend CPC?
CPC is for ALL people in ministry, whether you are a pastor, church leader, lay leader, elder, deacon, etc. Though the name of the conference has the words “children’s pastor” in it, any adult ministering to children/families is encouraged to attend — paid or volunteer. CPC has been a place where public and private school teachers and administrators have benefited greatly as well. If you minister to children/families in any setting or context you will be blessed by the “CPC experience.”

If you fit into any of the following categories you definitely should attend CPC:

  • Children’s Pastors
  • Children’s Ministry Directors
  • Christian Education Pastors or Directors
  • Family Ministry Directors and/or Family Pastors
  • VBS Directors and workers
  • Awana leaders and workers
  • Midweek children’s leaders or workers
  • Public school teachers
  • Private school teachers and administrators
  • Children’s minstry staff members
  • Sunday school teachers and administrators
  • Pastors, Elders, Deacons
  • Camp Directors
  • College Professors and Students
  • Any Christian leader or adult responsible for ministering to children and families!

I’m a first-timer. What do I do once I get to the conference?

After checking in to the hotel, proceed to the conference check-in desk. There you will be provided with your CPC name badge, conference handbook which includes a detailed schedule, map of the hotel property and other important information. The INCM staff will be there to assist you.

Please make plans to attend the first-timer’s orientation. This session is a great opportunity to receive an overview of the conference and tips on getting the most from your CPC experience.

Can we bring our children?

CPC is a highlight for leaders to be refreshed and renewed. As much as we love children, they can be a distraction in this setting. For that reason, children are not allowed in general sessions and breakouts. Only individuals with a paid registration may occupy seats in these sessions.

Mothers who need to bring their nursing babies are welcome. However, we ask these mothers to be respectful of other conference participants. Should your baby become fussy and disruptive, please step outside the meeting room.
