Spectacular Slime Slaughter creates an environment of an OK-to-have-food fight.
Preparation:
Start your slaughter by preparing your slime. This is done by following the recipe on the Mash Potato flakes. Use water instead of milk and forget the margarine. Water these spuds down to an acceptable slime consistency. Avoid getting it too watery. For advice on proper slime consistency consult the kids in your group. Make the appropriate amount for your group. Divide your slime into the 4 buckets and color it with the colors of your choice.
Establish the boundaries of your rectangular slaughter field and put a different color slime bucket at each corner.
To Start:
Let the kids know that only Warriors in the field of play are targets for sliming. Remind those that don't participate to stay off the slaughter field and don't carry a spoon.
Give each of your kids a spoon.
The Object:
The object of S.S.S. is to get your fellow dudes as slimy as possible. This is done by getting a spoon of slime and catapulting it at your target. The game is over when you are out of slime. Keep your camera ready because the results are surely worth the film. I would also suggest establishing a rule that no one (but leaders) can pick up the slime buckets. If you are near a lake or pond or sea, jump in to clean off. If not, change clothes or continue on with another slimy game like a shaving cream war.
Cold Weather Option:
Have each Kid bring a large plastic leaf or garbage bag. Have kids put on the bag, head through the bottom and their arms on the side. Set the rules so that the leaf bag is the slime target. After the slaughter just remove and trash the bags.
