JESUS SERVES OTHERS

This is a craft that was used in our kindergarten and primary areas. This was used with the Bible story, "Jesus Washes the Disciples Feet" (John 13:5-20).

You will need two sheets of the large construction paper (18"x12"). Fold one of the sheets in half to resemble a book. On the front cover have the children cut the picture or pictures out of the Bible-in-life-Stories that reviews their Bible story,(see diagram below.) The next sheet cut in half and glue to the inside bottom of the folded page as a pocket. At a fabric store you will need to purchase terry cloth. In one of the pockets place a "10x10" piece of terry cloth that you have previously cut. In the other pocket place a miniature bar of soap such as you find in hospitals or motels. (One of our mothers who is a nurse donated our little bars of soap that she collected on the job.)
