Job description for the Assistant Pastor of Children & Young Families

The Assistant Pastor of Children & Young Families is a full-time pastor who is responsible to lead the ministry that reaches and develops children ages birth through fi fth grade and young families so that they become more like Christ. Working together with the professional and lay children’s ministry staff, he will lead, promote and oversee the spiritual formation of children by teaching them to worship, serve the body, evangelize the lost, and participate in family and community. He will also be responsible to teach,council, and assist parents in the development of godly marriages and biblical parenting skills so that young families are biblical,Christ-centered homes.
