And, when you’re literally shipping a ton of something (in this case, we’re shipping 2,135 pounds of Dispatch this week), you’re likely to run into some issues.
So, to those of you who subscribe to our Dispatch subscription box, we’d like to say something:
We’re sorry. We are deeply sorry.
The first two volumes that we mailed set a standard that we’re going to have to reset for two important reasons.
First, we’d like to apologize that the box size is different.
The Volume 3 box is an inch taller than the previous boxes, and we are sensitive to those of you who have mail slots or mailboxes that will not be able to fix this quarter’s box.
We tried everything we could think of to get the product to fit into the old box – including buying a [broken] ShrinkRay 2000 off eBay – but nothing worked. So, again, we’re sorry.
Next, we’d like to apologize that the box is difficult to open.
The Volume 3 box has so much packed into it that you may actually have trouble getting the box open.
This is a serious issue, and we want to make sure that all of our subscribers are properly equipped to retrieve the items in their box.
Here are some instructions that will help you when your Dispatch box arrives:
- Set your Dispatch box on a flat surface.
- Open it carefully.
- Enjoy your Dispatch box.
Again, we’re really sorry that this may cause you some problems.
